This article describes the IP address and the ports used by VoIPcloud Wholesale to provide VoIP services. If you have strict firewall policies in place you will need to ensure the appropriate address and ports are added to be allowed in your firewall rules. There are two types of traffic that need to be forwarded: SIP signalling and RTP media.
The SIP server your endpoints register to is defined in the SIP Devices section on the PBX tab in the customer portal, https://au.voipcloud.online/customer/#pbx/index.
The screenshot above highlights the SIP server and the port so you can configure your endpoints. If required you may also have to allow both inbound and outbound traffic for the IP address and port on your firewall, if there are strict firewall policies in place in your organisation. To discover the IP address for the SIP server, you can simply run a ping command from the command line on your PC, or use the table below.

RTP servers and port range
The following RTP servers are used to carry the Real Time traffic (audio/video) during a call. You need to allow both inbound and outbound traffic for these IP addresses and the specified port ranges to ensure there are no issues with the audio on calls, such as one way audio.
